This Week {Words + Pictures}

Wkof7:19:15 A bit of a hodgepodge this week, as I attempted to get back into a routine after a week of no schedules.

...Celebrated my birthday with my husband and middle daughter at my favorite English pub, taking time out to take a snap of this snippet of wisdom by Jim Morrison that hangs framed on the Ladies' Room wall...

...snuggled with our little guy, Popeye Willie {who was so happy to be released from the kennel!}...

...unwrapped a beautiful hand-painted pitcher, a gift from my three daughters, brought all the way to our home from Monet's Garden in Giverny...

...received my first package from Stitch Fix!  If you love buying clothes but hate to shop, this online personal shopper is the perfect solution...

...Began a new painting, continuing to be inspired by Flora Bowley...

...Bought a few new books, including Judd Apatow's collection of interviews with comics and others. There is a certain irony in my purchase of this book; I don't always enjoy his movies but I love listening to him talk about his love of comedy.  His passion is contagious.

It was hazy, hot and humid here in our little neck of the wood so I was unable to take as many nature shots as I would have liked.  I am so thankful for a break in the heat this evening.  The air is cool, Popeye is snoozing on the chair next to me, my husband is asleep upstairs, and I am writing to you. I love evenings when the house is still, the only sound the crickets outside the open window.  Wishing each of you a happy Blue Moon!
