Nobody sees a flower - really - it is so small it takes time - we haven't time - and to see takes time, like to have a friend takes time. ~ Georgia O'Keeffe
It is when I stop and look, really pause and study, at a flower that I am truly aware and awed by the intricate beauty of the world we live in. So much went into the creation of each one; stamen, anther, pistil, petal, each with it's own purpose.
What a beautiful gift Spring delivers to us after the harshness of winter! The earth softens, buds burst forth on trees, the sun...oh, the sun!...it warms the earth and coaxes the flowers to awaken from their winter rest. We step outside and mimic the flowers, turning our faces towards the sun, letting it's rays wash over us.
When you step outside take the time to stop, look and marvel at the beauty of each flower. Let it remind you of how important it is to pause.
Sending you love on this glorious day,
